Visitors to Old Glossop, Derbyshire can now easily discover the important role the village played in the early cotton industry.
Audio Trails were commissioned to produce a responsive website, an audio trail, a family activity sheet, four interpretation panels and a further 15 location-specific mini-interpretation plaques, putting a wealth of information at people’s fingertips.

“I was most pleased to be able to work with Dan, from the early stages of the project when he was researching the possibilities for topics and places to include and when he required all the Old Glossop images which I supplied to be used in the various digital and signboard displays, and later contacting the Duke of Norfolk for permission to use his family coat of arms and also finding voices for the link commentary.
He was most keen to get the facts right and get as much detailed information as possible and I found the whole of his organising of the project excellent and I am pleased that final outcome sets out the history and Heritage of the ‘Real Glossop’ so well.”

“It has been a pleasure to work with Audio Trails to create the Old Glossop Heritage Trail. Dan’s ability to engage and enthuse a varied audience, across all age groups is excellent. His attention to detail and his ability to draw out fabulous facts and anecdotes has resulted in a fun and informative trail that brings the fascinating history of Old Glossop to life.”
